摘要
The radiation from a target received by an infrared system is called apparent radiation. The apparent radiation includes three major factors: the ambient radiation reflected and transmitted by the target, the emissivity of the target, and the true temperature of the target. Due to lack of theory and method to measure the ambient radiation, it is impossible to quantitatively measure the self-radiation properties of the target. To solve this problem, we have presented a new concept called equivalent blackbody radiation 1 and quantitative measurements have been done for an opaque greybody.
