摘要
Electrospun nanofibers have been widely used recently as dressings for wound healing. They have high porosity, good mechanical properties, and excellent biocompatibility; as a result, they help to moisten wounds, promote cell respiration, and regenerate damaged skin. In addition, nanofibers can achieve the different requirements of wound therapy by encapsulating active substances or being incorporated in their structural design. Here, the most recent (since 2018) developments of electrospun nanofibers as wound dressings are reviewed, including polymer materials, structure characteristics and the function of promoting wound healing. Furthermore, the development prospects of wound dressings prepared by electrospinning are put forward.
