Abstract The aim of this chapter are to discuss the clinical manifestations, investigations, and classification of Psoriatic Arthritis in children. The difficulties inherent in correctly diagnosing and classifying patients with this type of arthritis in particular will be emphasized. Psoriatic Arthritis in children has only recently been recognized as a distinct condition among the chronic arthritides of childhood. In many centres, it continues to be under-diagnosed. This chapter will concentrate on the clinical characteristics of childhood Psoriatic Arthritis and point out largely unappreciated differences between this arthritis and the other types of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA).
