In the Hippo signaling pathway, the palmitoylated transcriptional enhanced associated domain (TEAD) protein interacts with the coactivator Yes-associated protein/PDZ-binding motif, leading to transcriptional upregulation of oncogenes such as Ctgf and Cyr61.
