Successful Treatment of Refractory Status Asthmaticus With Omalizumab.

Abstract The presented case demonstrates the efficacy of omalizumab as a rescue therapy of refractory status asthmaticus associated with high IgE levels. Omalizumab should be considered in patients with status asthmaticus unresponsive to standard treatment.
