Objective To study the effects of aspirin, clopidogrel or their combined on anti-platelet in patients with ischemic cerebral stroke. Methods One hundred and eigty cases of ischemic stroke patients were divided into the aspirin group(aspirin enteric-coated tablets,100 mg/d),the clopidogrel group(clopidogrel 75 mg/d),and the combined treatment group(aspirin enteric-coated tablets + clopidogrel, the same dose);60 cases in each group. Before, after 14 d of treatment, the platelet inhibition rate which induced through rachidonic acid(AA) and adenosine diphosphate(ADP) pathway was detected by thromboelastography. Results After treatment, three groups AA,ADP pathway of platelet inhibition rate was significantly higher than before treatment(all P0.05);3 groups AA,ADP pathway of platelet inhibition rate difference was statistically significant(all P0.05).The combined treatment group and the aspirin group AA pathway of platelet inhibition was significantly higher than the clopidogrel group(all P0.05);combined treatment group and the clopidogrel group ADP pathway of platelet inhibition rate also was significantly higher than the aspirin group(all P0.05);the differences of platelet inhibition rate between the AA pathway of the combined treatment group and the aspirin group and the ADP pathway of the combined treatment group and the clopidogrel group were no statistical significance. Conclusion Antiplatelet effects of aspirin and clopidogrel in patients with ischemic stroke are significant.Aspirin plus clopidogrel can inhibit platelet aggregation from two ways, the antiplatelet effect is better.
