Numerical Simulation of Combustion Flow in a Gas Turbine Combustor

The combustion flow field of a gas turbine combustor was simulated with FLUENT software.During the numerical simulation,the k-e turbulence model,a single chemistry reaction system,infinite-rate reaction and the SIMPLE algorithm was applied.The paper analysed the effect of the load on the combustion efficiency,the average tempereture of outlet,excess air ratio and the length of flame.The numerical results can reflect the characteristic of the combustion flow in the combustor and they're valuable in optimizing the combustor.
