synthesis of poly(butylene succinate)(PBS) by solution polycondensation combined with melt polycondensation

In order to study the synthesis of poly(butylene succinate)(PBS) by solution polycondensation combined with melt polycondensation,screening of catalyst for polymerization reaction,and the factors influencing the synthetic process are investigated and the optimum conditions are obtained.The result shows that under optimum conditions the reaction time can be reduced to 4 hours and the poly(butylene succinate)(PBS) can be obtained with anumber-average molecular weight(Mn)of 75 500 and the distribution can be about 1.8781.
