Crystalline morphology of polypropylene catalloys (PP-c)was studied by using polarized optical microscopy (POM)and wide-angle X-ray diffractio n (WAXD).It was found that β-PP existed,in addition to α-PP, in the c rystalline phase of PP-c.Crystallinity and the β-PP content for various P P-c were calculated. The results revealed that the content of β-PP increas ed with the increase of the ethylene content in PP-c,whereas the crystallinity of PP-c gradually decreased.Compared with the isotactic polypropylene (iPP) crystallized at the same condit ion,the increase of ethylene content resulted in the variation of spherulite gr owth and the decrease of crystalline perfection in PP-c.
