Exploration of "the Governmental" Characteristics of Social Organizations in China——An Analysis from the Theory of Path Dependence

The theory of path dependence about institutional change indicates that two forces of shaping path dependence are the hindering of the vested interests in old system and the effect of informal institutions,but the breaking away from lock-in must be with the help of the system itself and the external effect,that is,introducing exogenous variables.This theory can suitably explain the governmental characteristics of social organizations in China.If we intentionally create the path that made the social organizations locked-in,the negative effect of path dependence would be reduced,and then the social organizations in China would develop better.
