By the study on experiment of BTA deep hole drilling with three cutting edges,it analyses the status of drilling forces and chip deformation in deep hole situation in particular.Based on the evaluation and validation of experiment data from acquisition system,it describes the consist of the axial force and the relations of drilling forces,tool wear and chip deformation.The results show that the chip deformation of the inner edge is the largest in the drilling process,and the general change tendency of the drilling forces and chip deformation of the three cutting edges(means inner edge,middle edge and outside edge)is the same.
