Laser Treatment for Acne

Acne vulgaris is the most common cutaneous disorder in humans. Current medical therapies have certain drawbacks such as patient compliance issues and prolonged courses of treatment. A number of lasers/light sources have been explored for treating acne. The devices can be divided between those that target Propionibacterium acnes, the sebaceous gland, or both.
