摘要
A new spectrum of frequencies are allotted for next generation wireless communication systems based on 5G. Bulk acoustic wave (BAW) filters are well poised to support the new 5G & WiFi6E radio frequency bands and beyond. This paper presents an overview of BAW technology development for high frequency applications, filter design and process integration challenges. In addition, demonstrations of high frequency BAW filters for 5G, WiFi6E, and UWB applications are presented.
