In this issue of Chem, Kim et al. report a novel flash-thermal shock (FTS) lamping approach for synthesizing multi-elemental nanoparticles and single atoms supported on the SnO2 substrate, showing great potential for a range of applications in gas sensing, energy, and catalysis.
