On-chip photonics are crucial for scaling trapped-ion quantum computers. To this end, we demonstrate conductive, transparent ITO metasurfaces working at visible wavelengths. These conductive metasurfaces can be fabricated on the surface of an ion trap for scalable beam delivery to trapped ion quantum computers.
