摘要
Target two-dimensional (range and angle dimensions) localization is meaningful in sensor application areas, but most of typical techniques provide angle-only localization. Frequency diverse array (FDA) sensor offers potential target two-dimensional localization due to its angle-range-dependent beampattern, but it has the range and angle coupling problem. In this paper, an ambiguity function(AF)-based multiple signal classification (MUSIC) algorithm, namely, AF-MUSIC, is presented for the FDA and multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) combined FDA-MIMO radar to address two-dimensional localization of moving targets. The essential difference lies in that traditional MUSIC algorithm regards the FDA-MIMO radar transmitted multi-carrier waveform as multiple signals, while the AF-MUSIC algorithm takes the multi-carrier waveform as a whole signal. Simulation results show that the proposed method achieves better performance in the localization accuracy and resolution than traditional MUSIC algorithms.
