摘要
Background With the rapid development of intelligent mines, the working environment and task patterns of miners have changed significantly. In this context, TMS among miners is of great significance for improving team effectiveness and safeguarding miners’ safety performance. Objective This paper explores the mechanism of the TMS on miners'safety performance at a cross-level by using knowledge sharing at the team level and the sense of psychological security at the individual level as mediating variables. Methods Based on a questionnaire survey of 553 frontline miners from China (including 69 workgroup's leaders and deputy leaders) and in-depth analysis of the empirical data using SPSS26.0 and Mplus8.3 software. Results The TMS positively affects miners’ safety performance through the independent mediation of Knowledge Sharing and psychological security and the cross-level chain mediation of knowledge sharing and psychological security, with Team efficacy and Self-efficacy playing a moderating role. Conclusion The results provide a broader perspective on the antecedent variables associated with Safety performance and provide valuable insights and practical management strategies enhancing the safety management practices within coal mining enterprise.
