摘要
With the high convergence of communication systems and radar systems in hardware and information processing, Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) technology has been proposed as a new research hotspot. It is not only effectively utilizing limited resources, but also communication function and sensing function can help each other to achieve integration gain. It is foreseeable that ISAC will play an important role in the next-generation wireless networks like 6G or 5G-Advanced. This paper first introduces the concept of ISAC technology and introduces the types of working model. Next, several different practical application scenarios are discussed, and three stages of ISAC systems are further introduced. Finally, ISAC faces challenges such as selfinterference, Hash rate or signal detection are introduced, and this paper also provides several possible research directions for solve these challenges. The purpose of this paper is to clarify the overall framework of ISAC and point out the parts worthy of further exploration. We hope that this paper will help researchers who want to researching ISAC technology.
