DME synthesis from the synthesis gases produced by three typical syngas production processes respectively was carried out in a fix-bed reactor. The influences of temperature, pressure and space velocity on the catalyst activity were investigated. The results showed that conversion of CO increases with increasing of the pressure and decreases with increasing of the space velocity; conversion of CO increases firstly with the temperature increasing, reaching the maximum, and then decreases with the temperature further increasing. The results also demonstrated that T-J catalyst shows better activity at low temperature than G-J catalyst. Also,it was found that the DME synthesis from the syngas derives from CH_4-Air-H_2O-CO_2 process,i.e. syngas containing N_2,can achieve high CO single pass conversion and DME yield with low consumption of nature gas under a suitable high pressure.
