Appraisal of fetal echocardiography in detecting fetal congenital heart disease

Objective To evaluate the usefulness of fetal echocardiography in fetal congenital heart disease. Methods Review of fetal echocardiograms at 12 to 16 weeks of 30 gestations and their babys had congenital heart disease. Results It had 9 children with congenital heart disease in the conventional ultrasound findings of the 30 cases.The accuracy of fetal echocardiography was 23.3%.And it had 29 children with congenital heart disease of the same 30 cases,the accuracy of fetal echocardiography was 96.7%.The two kinds of methods have a statistically significant,(P 0.05). Conclusion Fetal echocardiography can accurately determine the structure and function of cardiac morphology,and effectively identify congenital heart disease,with a high value in the detection of congenital heart disease.
