Photo-and Electro-luminescent Properties of Complexes Synthesized with 8-Hydroxyquinoline and Zn(II), Cd(II), Pr(III)

Transition complexes, n-(8-Hydroxyquinoline) Zinc(1) (ZnQn), n-(8-Hydroxyquinoline) Cadmium(2) (CdQn)and n-(8-Hydroxyquinoline) Praseodymium(3) (PrQn) have been synthesized. The IR, UV-VIS-NIR and fluorescencespectra of the complexes were measured and analyzed, electroluminescence properties of OEL devices with the com-plexes as emitting materials.
