Study of new polyacrylamide flocculants

New polyacrylamide flocculants were developed which include a zinc group composite flocculant and a modified polyacrylamide flocculant. Preparation and components of the flocculants mentioned above were described, reaction conditions for preparation were optimized as well. The effect of flocculating pH value and addition amount on flocculation results was exemplified. The results show that the flocculants have strengths such as low cost, easy preparation, non-toxic, pollution free and good flocculation results.
