PROPERTIES OF SCALE-INHIBITING OF POLYASPARTIC ACID TO CaSO_4

The properties of scale-inhibiting of the polyaspartic acid to CaSO_4 were studied which included the effects of polyaspartic concentration,Ca~(2+) concentration,SO_4~(2-) concentration,pH value and temperature on the properties of scale-inhiting of polyaspartic to CaSO_4.The effects of polyaspatic on crystallizing conformation of CaSO_4 were observed by using scanning electron microscope.The experiment results showed that the polyaspartic had excellent efficiency of scale-inhibiting to CaSO_4 for water treatment.
