摘要
In this work, we propose a reflection color filter based on plasmonic nanoarray of double Fabry-Perot (F-P) nanocavities with high degree of freedom of color manipulation and high efficiency of reflection. The double F-P nanocavity based plasmonic nanoarray structure is formed by metallic films on the top and bottom of a square dielectric nano-pillar and a metallic film on a glass substrate separated with a dielectric spacer layer. The reflections of different colors can be designed and manipulated effectively by adjusting both the cavity lengths and the duty cycle of the nano-pillars. It is found that the manipulation capability of the reflected color can be significantly enhanced by the coupling of two nanocavities and the duty cycle of the nano-pillars. The proposed color filter can be of potential applications in imaging, display and optical data storage.
