摘要
The behavior of bubble detachment is crucial for enhancing boiling heat transfer efficiency. Previous theoretical and experimental studies have revealed that light-regulation technology, leveraging its advantages such as point-to-point precise control, remote manipulation capability, and antielectromagnetic interference, has emerged as a research focus in bubble detachment control. However, prior research predominantly focused on promoting the detachment process itself, with outcomes largely centered on detachment diameter. Investigations into bubble detachment velocity and millimeter-scale bubbles, which are prevalent in practical industrial applications, remain relatively scarce. This study systematically investigates the light-regulated detachment velocity of millimeter-scale bubbles. It was discovered that the bubble detachment velocity initially increases and subsequently decreases with increasing laser power density, while a reduction in surface roughness can enhance the detachment velocity. Under optimized conditions, the average and maximum detachment velocities reached 49.03 and 51.31 mm/s, respectively. Furthermore, comparative heat transfer experiments were conducted, providing further confirmation of the laser's promoting effect on bubble detachment velocity and its resultant enhancement of heat transfer efficiency. This research offers a novel perspective for the field of bubble detachment control and is expected to find broad application in diverse areas such as microscale heat conduction, hydrogen production via water splitting, and chemical flotation.
