MAO-Free Metallocene Based Catalysts in High Pressure Polymerization of Ethylene and 1-Hexene

The high pressure polymerization studies of 1-hexene and ethylene without the costly cocatalyst MAO using a MAO-free, activated metallocene dichloride catalyst is presented. The influence of the aluminumalkyl on productivity, the Zr and aluminumalkyl concentrations on molecular weight, and co-monomer concentration on productivity and co-monomer incorporation were studied.
