Study on the Antiaging Effect of Phyllanthus emblica L.

Objective To study the antiaging effect and mechanism of Phyllanthus emblica L.Methods The aged mice induced by D-galactose were administrated intragastrically with different concentration extracts of Phyllanthus emblica L.and fed with the different dosage fodder containing Phyllanthus emblica L.SOD,GSH-px activities and MDA,LPF contents in serum,heart and liver of the mice were measured by respective reagent boxes.Results Phyllanthus emblica L.improved the activities of SOD, GSH-px,and reduced the contents of MDA,LPF significantly.Conclusion Phyllanthus emblica L.has significant antiaging effect.
