Research Development of Glutamine on Immune Cell

As an important conditionally indispensable amino acid,glutamine presents an important role in promoting immune function when the animal has been in earlier age or during stress.The effects of glutamine on immune closely relate with influencing growth and capabilities of immune response of various immune cells such as lymphocytes,macrophages,neutrophils,which play a direct role in controlling immunity.The effects of glutamine on immune cell in proliferation and differentiation,apoptosis,secretion and heat shock response have been reviewed in this article.
