Can Error Become the Source of Innovation?—An Analysis on the Cross-level Model Based on the Effect of Error Management Culture on Employees' Creativity

Facing the critical period of social and economic transformation,how to effectively stimulate the employee's creativity has become an important subject of human resource managers in enterprises at our country present stage. In this paper,with the valid data of 531 employees of 43 enterprises in Anhui province by questionnaire survey method,we build a cross- level model of mediating effect of the impact of the error management culture on the level of organization on employees' creativity and creative self- efficacy on the level of individual variables,and the technique of the hierarchical linear mode( HLM) is carried out for in- depth research. The result shows that the organizational error management culture has a positive cross- level effect on employees' creativity and the creative self- efficacy has played a partial mediate role between organizational error management culture and employees' creativity.
