Production of exopolysaccharides by Cordyceps sinensis in liquid culture

Exopolysaccharide was produced by cordyceps militaris in the liquid culture.The optimum conditions were as follows: glucose 30 g/L,bean cake 20 g/L,MgSO4 2 g/L,KH2PO4 4 g/L,the original pH is 7.0,inoculum concentration is 10%,temperature 24 ℃ and rotatory speed 140 r/min.In this condition,the production of exopolysaccharides reached to 3.928 g/L and the production cycles can be shortened effectively.
