A Calculation Method for Throat Section of Turbocharger Turbine Volute

A new method,which was based on one-dimensional model of turbine volute,was introduced to calculate the A/R value of throat section.The five vehicle turbocharger turbines were tested.The method was proved to be feasible for further through the comparison between experimental and calculated results.
