Determination of berberine in qihuang granular by second-order derivative spectrophotometry

Objective:To determine the concentration of berberine in qihuang granular.Methods:By the method of secord order derivative spectrophoto metry calculated the concentration of berberine with the relationship(C=131 27D+0 0905, r =0 9999)between ampitude (D) and concentration (C) in 351 0nm and 363 6nm (peak valley).Results:This method eliminated disturbance rising from other sections with average recovery 100 3% and RSD0 73%.Conclusion:This method which is convenient and quick can be used as quick analysis of berberine in qihuang granular.
