Objective: To investigate the vascular endothelial cells seeding into the surface of tissue engineering a blood vessel scaffold material. Methods: (1) We devised a blood vessel scaffold with a combined polymer that was mainly composed of rabbit vessel EC and collagen with reinforcement by a non - spinning fabric mesh made of PGA. (2) Endothelial cells which were seeded into scaffold material were isolated form rabbit thoracic aorta by enzyme digestion methods and subcultured and purified. Scanning electron microscopy was used to analyze the morphological characteristics of vessel EC. Result: Vessel EC can adhered well on the inner surface of the tissue engineering tubular scaffold material with a tenacity and elasticity Conclusions: Non - spinning PGA porous biodegradable materials coated with collagen is benefit for cells to be adhered and grown. It will lay a foundation for a laminated structure of tissue engineering a blood vessel.
