As a five-day workweek begins, many types of creative and characteristic leisure activities are expected to increase. It makes workers have more leisure hours. Also, a five-day workweek will be contributed to improving standard of lives, accelerating leisure activities, and promoting people`s welfare. Therefore, the major objective of this study is to find out changes the five-day workweek, brought to workers` leisure activities through research analyses and influences of a five-day workweek to workers` leisure satisfaction. Verified results are listed as follow. Firstly, there are significant differences in the leisure time of Saturday according to various types of work. Secondly, there are significant differences in leisure satisfaction according to types of work workers engaged in, and leisure satisfaction was the highest among group which practice a five-day workweek. Thirdly, there is a difference in leisure activities, depending on leisure time. Fourthly, according to effects of leisure time on leisure satisfaction, leisure time on Saturday is proved to be effective on statistically on leisure satisfaction. Finally, it was discovered that the total amount leisure activity affected on the leisure satisfaction. In fact, the more the leisure activities are, the higher the leisure satisfaction. Regarding these verified results, this study reached conclusion that a five-day workweek can be a factor which influence workers` leisure activities and leisure satisfaction.
