摘要
Cathodic Tafel slope and electrochemical reaction order for the hydrogen evolution process on some iron and nickel-base alloys in sulfuric solutions are presented and discussed with regard to the possible reaction mechanisms. Corrosion products and elemental arsenic deposit are shown to play an important role on the hydrogen evolution mechanism.
