A novel strategy of CO 2 molecular fencing effect promoted by photoactivation via preparing a nanocomposite of Ru nanoparticles supported on MgO is developed to significantly enhance fuel production rates and light-to-fuel efficiency, and completely prohibit coking for photothermocatalytic DRM.
