The 85th anniversary of the Volgograd tractor plant and of СТЗ-1 tractor - the first mass-produced domestic tractor

The article is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of mass production start-up of СТЗ-1 wheeled agricultural tractor in the Stalingrad tractor plant (now Volgograd tractor plant). Design features and main characteristics of this tractor, as well as stages of development of the plant’s products are given.
