摘要
Flexible energy storage devices have risen to the top of the heap in contemporary era, by virtue of their novel characteristics such as virtuous flexibility, which allows them to maintain superior electrochemical performance even when stretched, and twisted. Synthetic polymers break down inflexibly, resulting in pollution of the environment, for this reason biodegradable hydrogels with benevolent properties are used as flexible battery materials to elucidate this issue. Herein, a hydrogel-based flexible battery, its privileges, applications, difficulties and adversities are symbolized and discussed with zeal to support the research for the rapidly evolving area.
