The polyoxometalate (POM) K 5 [M(H 2O)PW 11 O 39 ] (M=Co, Ni) was supported on amine-functionalized MCM-48 via self-assembly method. The XRD, UV/DRS, FT-IR, ICP-AES, 31 P MAS NMR, N 2 adsorption and elemental analysis were used to characterize the structure of the hybrid catalysts, and the photocatalytic activity of the catalysts was measured through the degradation of hexachlorobenzene. The results indicated that the photocatalytic activity of the catalysts was higher than that of the direct photolysis. Moreover, this kind of catalysts was insoluble in water, and could be reused.
