Plant Lesion Mimic Mutants and Their Signaling Pathways

Lesion mimic mutants( LMM) are ideal tools to dissect various aspects of programmed cell death( PCD) and defense response. A growing body of evidence suggests their phenotype is easily influenced by environmental factors and genetic background. In this paper,we presented the mechanism of lesion mimic formation and progress on defense signaling pathways as to provide some useful references for the study of hypersensitive response in plant.
