Structure control and properties of ultrafiltration/microfiltration membranes

Membrane material is the core of the membrane technology,and the structure control of it in the preparation process plays a decisive role to the properties of the membrane.In this paper,recent development of UF/MF membrane technology at home and abroad and status quo of the industry are firstly introduced.Based on these,newly development and achievement in the research of membrane structure control and surface modification concerning PE hollow fiber microfiltration membrane by TIPS,PTFE microfiltration membrane by biaxial stretching method,PVDF microfiltration membrane by melt-spinning method and PVDF ultrafiltration membrane by phase inversion process,are summarized.
