Preparation of Supported Ru-catalysts with Low-concentration and Catalytic Performance in Hydrogenation of Benzene

A novel Ru-catalysts have been prepared by decomposition of Triruthenium dodecacarbonyl and have been exercised for hydrogenation of benzene.All Ru-catalysts have been characterized by XPS,XRD,EDS、 AAS and XRF.Influence of reaction conditions on benzene conversion and selectivity to cyclohexane,such as hydrogenation model,preheating temperature,reaction temperature,reaction pressure,velocity of liquid benzene and molar ratio of hydrogen to benzene,were investigated.The results showed that the catalyst exhibited excellent reactivity on hydrogenization of benzene.The conversion of benzene and selectivity of cyclohexane were over 99% and 98% respectively.
