The reflectivity expression of fiber Bragg grating was obtained from the coupled mode theory,and the reflective properties of the fiber Bragg grating were educed from this expression.The designed reflected central wavelength was λD=2neffΛ.By simulating the reflectivity expression of fiber Bragg grating,the reflectance curves and the bandwidth curves were plotted in different parameters.Furthermore the relationship among the characteristic parameters: the reflectivity Rg,the bandwidth Δλ,and the production parameters: the grating spacing Λ,the grating length L and the value of refractive index micro-disturber δneff were analyzed.The conclusions were meaningful at making appropriate fiber Bragg grating.
