Perioperative care in the elderly patients received total knee arthroplasty

Objective To study the perioperative care in the elderly patients received total knee arthroplasty.Methods20 cases of total knee arthroplasty patients were received perioperative care,such as psychological care,preoperative health guidance,early functional training after operation etc.Results All the patients were followed up for 6-24 months.All patients survived,the motion range of knee joint met the requirement,weight-bearing walking and the good quality of life were achieved.Conclusions The perioperative care play an important role in the elderly patients who received total knee arthroplasty
