Preparation and Electrical Property of MWNTs/PMMA Nanocomposite

When put surface modification agent in MWNTs,the surface capability of the particles had been changed.The MWNTs/PMMA nanocomposite were prepared by solution mixing method assisted.The phase structures of the nanocomposite were investigated via TEM and SEM.And the mechanical property and electrical properties of the nanocomposite were characterized.The results showed that solution method made MWNTs well dispersed in the PMMA matrix by ultrasonic scattered,and with increasing the MWNTs content,the electrical conductivity of composite materials was to be risen then maintained the same level.And when the content of MWNTs was 3 %,the tensile strength was 84 MPa,when the content of MWNTs was 4 %,the impact strength was 24.19 kJ/m2.
