Violating Maxim Quantity in a Movie "Murder on the Orient Express"

The cooperative principle is an important thing for people who have a conversation. People need to follow  the cooperative principle to be a success in transferring ideas. One principle that people need to obey is maxim of quantity. Maxim of quantity suggests the people make their contribution as it is required. They  are not allowed to talk too much or too short. When they do this, they are categorized doing maxim of  quantity violation. This study is conducted to discover the ways people violate maxim of quantity and the  reasons why they tend to violate it rather than obey it. there are five ways people violate maxim of quantity  and two reasons that encourage them to do it.
