摘要
This work presents a facile and scalable method for the synthesis of TiNb2O7 as a promising anode material for lithium-ion batteries, in which titanium oxide and niobium oxide were converted into soluble salts in KOH sub-molten salt medium, followed by the addition of acid to obtain uniform and finely sized precursor particles. Finally prepared nanostructured TiNb2O7 delivers remarkable electrochemical properties. It possesses a capacity of 287 mA h g−1 at 0.1 C, with capacity retention of 120 mA h g−1 after 300 cycles at a current rate of 5 C, highlighting the potential of this method for commercial synthesis of TiNb2O7.
