Associations of Metabolic Dysfunction–Associated Fatty Liver Disease With Peripheral Artery Disease: Prospective Analysis in the UK Biobank and ARIC Study

There is currently limited evidence comparing the association between metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD), nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), and the risk of peripheral artery disease (PAD). This study aims to analyze the associations of MAFLD and NAFLD with incident PAD.
