PFAPA meets Behçets: a rare overlap in a paediatric patient

PFAPA (periodic fever, aphthous stomatitis, pharyngitis, adenitis) syndrome and Behçets are autoinflammatory disorders with overlapping features such as recurrent oral ulcers and systemic inflammation. While PFAPA primarily affects young children, Behçets is rare in paediatric patients. This case of an 8-year-old boy highlights the diagnostic challenges and potential shared mechanisms of these conditions.
