A streamlined lateral flow immunoassay for S. typhimurium using intrinsically multifunctional magnetic nanoprobes for capture, enrichment, and signal amplification

This work developed a lateral flow immunoassay using carboxyl-functionalized Fe 3 O 4 nanoparticles for the sensitive detection of S. typhimurium , leveraging their dual function in magnetic enrichment and peroxidase-like catalytic signal amplification.
